Discipline is the key habit or routine that helps achieve the outcome you desire. Discipline takes desire and creates action. We all have desire, but desire alone isn’t enough. I desire to _ (lose weight, save money, exercise, pray, etc).
That’s the progression for establishing a habit in your life. Remember these three words: 1) Desire 2) Discipline 3) Delight. Let me share something with you that has helped me. Even if it’s brief, let prayer be firmly fixed as the start of your day. Let it be the first thing you do in the morning. I encourage you, to set prayer as your top priority. Perhaps you have found yourself in a place where you are reestablishing priorities. This pandemic and divine reset has disrupted routines and disciplines. So let me remind you, your answer for today is found in a prayer meeting! It was birthed, built and emboldened in a prayer meeting. So often prayer is the place we run to when things fall apart, yet it should be the place we start before our day ever begins.
